Novel Ideas Part 1

October 22, 2009 · 1 Comment

Some novel ideas I’ve been tinkering with for my Nanowrimo novel:

1) Two tweens boys go on a fun-filled skiing trip and noone is the wiser.

2) One tween girl and her older friend discover there’s more to their elderly neighbor than meets the eye. A lot more.

3) A dentist tries to brace himself for love but ends up biting off more than he can chew.

4) One dog discovers there is more to his new owner’s dog house than meets the eye

5) A girl falls in love with a boy but its not the kind you are thinking of

6) A rich engaged woman meets a working class guy on a boat that is heading for disaster

7) A hapless magician can do every trick in the book but what happens when he can’t make his one night stand disapear?

#8 a fun-loving gambler who makes all the right bets can’t seem to find a girl
who will sleep with him.

9) A Don Juan uncle finds out the hard way that his niece and nephew really don’t respect him. But that doesn’t stop them from setting him up with their first grade teacher!

10) A boy uses his milk money to buy a prostitute with his friends and his dad marries her.

11) a boy wishes his father can’t tell a lie right as the father finds an ancient mask that makes him a crazy party animal.

12) an unlikely guy has to take care of a baby for awhile.

13) a rough and tumble chef can make any dessert he wants but what happens when his relationship turns into a recipe for disaster.

14) a male and a female who are totally opposites fall in love.

15) A building isn’t the only thing getting erected when a successful architect falls in love with a homeless lady.

That’s it so far. The hard part is narrowing it down to just one. Wish me luck.
