Not Exactly What I Had In Mind, Creative Loafing!

January 12, 2009 · 1 Comment

Relatively unknown blog, the 941, has again proved that despite how many restaurants they defame and how many souls they CRUSH (mine) they will not retract their offensive views on Chili’s fajitas and buffalo chicken sliders (the latter, the reviewer admits, were “tasty enough”). If Brian Ries had ordered a Molten Chocolate Cake for his dessert, I’m sure his review of “2 Kickin’ Chicken Crispers (Out of 10)” would have skyrocketed to at least 9 Kickin’ Chicken Crispers. After reading every blog post in the 941 canon, I stumbled upon an entry that mentions yours truly (me) very directly now adding [Chili's World-Famous Margarita] salt to the wound. The aforementioned blog post is entitled “Mission Accomplished: Creative Loafing makes Blogger’s ‘Enemy List’!” as if it was their “mission” to offend a Chili’s-loving blogger and that they had just “accomplished” that “mission” by making me cry. I have only been to Sarasota (the 941) once (because I was lost going to somewhere cool) but there must be something in the water rendering their taste buds (and possibly minds) goofy. If this situation is not rectified immediately, it’s possible that I will have to add their personal God-given names (because there are TWO offenders) to my “Extreme Enemies List”.

The post I have just made receives the highest honor of 10 Kickin’ Chicken Crispers (Out of 10)

seriously what the hell is “the 941″? and who makes a newspaper for free? and who doesn’t love chili’s? Authentic tex-mex-fusion dishes in a small-town hole in the wall environment.
