My love of Chili’s is well-documented. While googling Chili’s today at work, somewhere deep on the 15th page, I found an article entitled “Chain Gang: Chili’s” by some blog I’ve never heard of called Creative Loafing. The review was slanderous, poorly written, and biased. It started out wonderful, talking about beautiful childhood memories that the author had had while eating at Chili’s, which I’m sure we can all relate to. Then it takes a turn into SHIT LAND when the author, the esteemed Brian Ries (sarcasm), compares the side dish for fajitas as “reminiscent of adult Lunchables”. It gets worse. “Nachos are a single ring of chips, each one individually coated in black bean paste and a layer of cheese that covers the tortilla from corner to corner to corner,” says Brian. Is that positive or negative? You can read the offensive material for yourself by following the link above. Pure trash, Creative Loafing, and I expect a retraction.
