T’was the hour after Chili’s…

And all through the car,
three kids got the idea that Petsmart was not far.

Doggies remained at home snuggled tight,
but clotheless they were which all agreed was not right. 

Petsmart had t-shirts, sweaters and more,
all types of fun gifts, a puppy’s delight for sure

A Christmas sweater was purchased, then a toy, no TWO!
Two shirts, some meat treats, and a stuffed kangaroo!

The cashier at the register shouted with glee,
“How much you spend on dogs! I can’t believe you three!”

When the three kids got home, shopping bags taut
The doggies couldn’t believe all the presents they got

With fun sweaters and knit caps, they were belles of the ball
Everyone was in the puppy spirit, a Merry Christmas for all!
