We’ve been restaurant hopping lately, making sure to eat at all of the hot spots: T.G.I. Friday’s, Applebees’ etc…
This week, my crew and I “hit up” a Chili’s. Talk about a slam dunk meal! First, we delved into the Kickin’ Jack Nachos but the spice didn’t end there. Black Bean Burgers all around! Next up, the famous Presidente margaritas which were almost too much for my little (and very sensitive) belly. SWISH! This is a really underground restaurant but if you are ever travelling through Tipp City, Ohio, I suggest you check it out. There are no other restaurants anywhere else like this if I’ve researched correctly.
Restaurant Rating: Rim Shot!

I’m not familiar with this place called Chili’s. Is this a Mom&Pop establishments? Where would/could I find one in the Tampa Bay area?

It’s this really under the radar place. We randomly stumbled upon it while we were driving looking for an Applebee’s. Kind of a dive but the margaritas were good. I don’t know if you’ll find that around the Tampa area. I’m really sorry.

That’s too bad. Based on your description, I really want to give this place a try. I hope they do well, and expand up this way some day.
What’s Applebee’s?

Chili’s “under the radar”? Are you kidding? There are more than 1,400 Chili’s restaurants in 25 countries. And Mr. Vanaco, FYI, that includes more than 20 Chili’s in the Tampa Bay area.
A little research goes a long way toward credibility.

I honestly don’t believe it. At first I thought this was R.L. Stine’s brother contacting me about Ghost Car and then you tell me I need to RESEARCH! I have never IN MY LIFE been to another Chili’s nor have I ever seen another one. The night we went to the restaurant in question my waitress said that they might be expanding but 1,400 restaurants around the globe! If you can find me one SHRED OF PROOF that there are more Chili’s than just the one then I will personally admit to you that these comments were supposed to be sarcastic and obviously you missed it. If you’re really telling the truth R.U., then all I can do to settle this argument is change the Restaurant of the Week to this little-known hole-in-the-wall called Ruby Tuesday’s that is WITHOUT A DOUBT just in South Florida.

1,400 locations? c’mon now. you must be joking. if you wanted to sound credible you shouldn’t have picked such a huge number. if they really had this many locations, don’t you think they would be putting our commercials or magazine/print ads? 1,400 locations would mean they are a huge company, and probably own other restaurant chains as well. i would have believed you if you said 20-30 total. i could understand missing something like that. after all, i am a parent now, i dont get out much. 1,400…ha! what a joke.

LMAO…so there with your R.U.! Alls it takes is researching ‘Chili’s’ corporation and you’ll find there are over thousands of restaurants. Whoever doesn’t know that is just plain IGNORANT.
